Description

After the 2022 Boro Pride festival, Murfreesboro City Manager Craig Tindall took it upon himself to ban the Tennessee Equality Project from hosting any future events by stating he will deny any future applications from the organization to use city facilities.

Since the letter from Tindall went public, there has been a public outcry from citizens of Murfreesboro and surrounding areas for the Murfreesboro City Council to reverse the decision made by Tindall and for Tindall to rescind his letter.

The City Council to date has not reversed the decision.

Murfreesboro City Mayor Shane McFarland even went a step further during one of his “Fireside Chats” he hosts on Facebook to insinuate parents who allow children to attend drag shows are crappy parents (you can see this around the 20-minute mark here >> https://fb.watch/lZbpE36qFK/).
